SMS Terms for the United States

For SMS text messaging in the United States, when you request, agree to, enroll in, acknowledge, or otherwise provide verbal consent to receive one or more SMS text messages from Schedule.Now for appointment-related notifications ("Opt In"), or when you use a Schedule.Now workflow in which Schedule.Now sends, may send, or is asked to send one or more SMS text messages related to your appointment ("Text Message Service"), you agree to these SMS Terms for the United States ("SMS Terms"). You also understand that Schedule.Now handles personal information as described in the Privacy Policy and that use of the service is governed by the Terms of Service. Message frequency varies.

Schedule.Now sends transactional SMS text messages only. These messages may include booking confirmations, appointment reminders, cancellations, approval updates, and waitlist updates. No marketing or promotional messages are sent through this number.

Schedule.Now collects consent verbally when an appointment is created, confirmed, or updated. Consent is recorded only if the customer clearly says "Yes." SMS consent is optional, is not required to receive service, and is separate from the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Schedule.Now staff use the following verbal consent request before recording an Opt In: "Would you like to receive SMS text messages from Schedule.Now for appointment-related notifications, including booking confirmations, appointment reminders, cancellations, approval updates, and waitlist updates? Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help and STOP to opt out at any time."

Schedule.Now uses reasonable commercial efforts to deliver SMS text messages to the mobile number provided. Schedule.Now and participating wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

By Opting In to a Text Message Service:

• You authorize Schedule.Now to send SMS text messages to the mobile number associated with your Opt In for transactional appointment notifications, including booking confirmations, appointment reminders, cancellations, approval updates, and waitlist updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. No marketing messages are sent through this number.
• You agree that Schedule.Now may use an electronic record to document your Opt In. This record may include your phone number, consent status, the date and time consent was collected, the staff member or location that collected consent, and the related appointment or customer record.
• You understand that you can reply STOP at any time to opt out and reply HELP for help. You may also contact Schedule.Now at [email protected].
• You confirm that you are the current subscriber or customary user of the mobile number provided and that you are authorized to receive SMS text messages at that number.
